In this entry level role advisors will have the opportunity to make a difference by working with students by building relationships through advising them on the requirements for admittance into specific health care programs. Enrollment Advisors evaluate a prospective student’s needs, goals, and career objectives to identify if The Allen School of Health Sciences has the appropriate academic program, environment and services available that will enable students to achieve their personal and professional goals.

Essential Job Duties:

The Enrollment Advisor will schedule virtual meetings with prospective students to discuss their needs, goals, and values. You will answer any questions they may have about the admissions process and provide information about the programs and services offered by the institution. During these meetings, the advisor will also assess the student's suitability for the program and provide guidance on the next steps in the application process. The advisor will maintain professionalism, empathy, and clear communication throughout the virtual meeting to ensure a positive and informative experience for the prospective student.
 
As an Enrollment Advisor, you will be responsible for providing information and guidance to prospective students interested in enrolling in our institution. Your duties will include:
 

  • Taking inbound calls from prospective students who are interested in learning more about our programs and services.
  • Making outbound calls to follow up with prospective students who have expressed interest in our institution.
  • Providing detailed information about our academic programs, admissions requirements, and financial aid options.
  • Assessing the needs and goals of prospective students to determine the best program fit for them.
  • Guiding prospective students through the application process and assisting them with any questions or concerns.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all interactions with prospective students in our CRM system to include all technology components such as student information systems (Campus Vue), email, outlook and excel..
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure a seamless admissions process for prospective students.
  • Meeting individual and team targets for student enrollment and retention
  • Positive, consistent role model that exhibits Allen School of Health Science’s Core EDUCATE Values at all times.
  • Successfully manage caseloads for enrollment and completion of students
  • Successfully attend initial and on-going training sessions to enhance institutional operational knowledge, ranging from marketing through career services with a focus on regulatory and compliance standards in all areas.
  • Proactively identifies potential barriers within the student enrollment process and initiates steps resulting in resolution.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, Associate’s degree or High School diploma required
  • Industry related experience a plus
  • Must have experience in a professional outbound call center or admissions office with a focus on the student experience
  • Dedicated to providing an exceptional student experience
  • Passion for admissions, education, and continuous learning environment
  • Possess a sincere interest in helping others achieve life’s goals
  • Ability to understand and appreciate students and co-workers
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include some evenings
  • Basic Microsoft Office and CRM experience
  • Proficiency with technology and student management systems

 
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to build rapport with prospective students. Experience in a similar role and knowledge of higher education admissions processes are preferred. Additionally, proficiency in using CRM systems and a strong attention to detail are essential for this position. This is a full-time position that requires day and evening schedules and is a campus-based Position.
