- 3+ years of program or project management experience - 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams - A Bachelor’s degree or higher - Experience managing a high volume of complex content assets at once - Outstanding writing and editing skills across short-form and long-form content - Experience crafting and editing PowerPoint presentations for different audiences - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple cross-functional stakeholder relationships and needs in a fast-paced environment - Experience working with content management systems (Airtable a plus) - Demonstrated ability to define and execute projects against program requirements - Experience working closely with product managers, product marketers, legal, corporate communications, and/or PR partners
The Event Content Program Manager (Event Content PM) in Selling Partner Communities (SPC) supports content operations for Amazon's flagship seller conference, Amazon Accelerate, and other seller-facing events. This role helps execute the content management processes for sourcing, editing, and delivering exclusive, business-critical content for thousands of seller attendees across geographies, knowledge levels, and learning styles. Key job responsibilities The Event Content PM coordinates with cross-functional internal and external teams to ensure high-quality content delivery. They apply their understanding of the seller journey to manage editorial workflows, including reviewing and editing PowerPoint presentations, session titles and abstracts, speaker materials, and other event content formats. This includes implementing content taxonomies, maintaining workbacks and review timelines, and leveraging established systems to drive efficiency. This role combines operational excellence with creative expertise, requiring strong attention to detail, editorial judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively against tight deadlines and ambiguity. The Event Content PM ensures quality and consistency across event content deliverables by following established guidelines and best practices, while applying creative problem-solving to enhance content engagement and effectiveness. They collaborate with internal partners within the Seller Events team, and across Amazon, to execute content sourcing, editing, and delivery processes. Success in this role requires both strong project management capabilities and refined editorial skills to transform complex information into compelling, audience-focused content.
