The Lead Creative Producer (LCP) reports to the Group Creative Producer, Movies, in Creative Content Production, and is responsible for contributing to Original Movie marketing campaigns by overseeing the production of key creative marketing and social AV and Photography assets and edited creative content.


This role oversees creative capture planning, budgeting and production of Unit photo and Gallery photo shoots and on-set BTS (Behind the Scenes), EPK (on- camera interviews), stand-alone Social, event and marketing AV shoots. They are also responsible for obtaining talent approvals and curating/delivering final photo key sets. This position also produces creative content such as making of documentaries, marketing featurettes, sizzle reels and social content. The role works hand-in-hand with the Creative Directors as well as Campaign Managers, Social Managers, internal cross functional teams, and external agencies throughout the life of a film's marketing campaign to deliver high-level creative AV and photography.


A Lead Creative Producer is passionate about narrative storytelling and has experience in film production, photography, post production and understands how these assets function within a global marketing campaign. They are versed in SAG, Union, and DGA rules and regulations and have experience communicating with talent reps and filmmakers within the entertainment industry.


Qualifications:


- Comfort with multi-tasking, improvising, taking on new/evolving responsibilities and challenges.


- Loves being a vital part of a larger team and contributing to shared strategic and creative goals.


- Experience producing small and large-scale AV and/or photo shoots.


- 8+ years in creative marketing production, ideally in the entertainment industry


- Previous experience at a streaming studio, creative marketing or social agency is a plus.


Responsibilities Include:


VIDEO PRODUCTION / PHOTOGRAPHY


- During pre-production, gather scripts, schedules, creative and relevant information for efficient production of content capture (BTS capture).


- Partner with a Creative Director and collaborate with internal stakeholders to collect requests for on set production. Create shot lists for unit photographers and video crew


- Build and execute content capture plan in alignment with campaign creative and social creative needs


- Produce all photo and video shoots which includes hiring and recommending the appropriate photographer, director, director of photography, crew, and/or production company to execute the creative vision of a given campaign. Work with filmmakers, unit publicists and talent reps to coordinate the capture of BTS content while on set, and on camera interviews of talent.


- Has the ability to write talent interview questions, exhibiting a deep grasp of the movies content.


- Understand the logistics and pacing of production to understand how a marketing crew fits in to overall movie production.


- Based on availabilities and creative direction, plan for a photography pull aside, mini gallery or full gallery photo shoot during production


- Pick up outstanding interviews after the wrap of production


- Produce large scale Content Days for marketing during anticipation of film release dates, including social assets.


- Produce large scale Gallery photo shoots for Key Art/One Sheets for marketing during anticipation of film release date


POST PRODUCTION


- Oversee all talent approvals photography, pull frame grabs and create photography Key sets for internal and external stakeholders use as the foundational assets for global campaigns


- Work with Video agencies to full film clips, b-roll and soundbites from on set capture to deliver to partners


- Ideate, pitch and produce high-level creative content in the form of long or short-form "making of" docs, featurettes, sizzle reels and social content.


- Understand legalities film use and BTS use - be familiar with Paid Ads


Travel will be required.


Basic Qualifications

- 8+ years of driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in-house creative team experience


- Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote


- Experience developing cross-functional relationships with product, consumer research and marketing teams to develop strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions


- Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery


- Experience managing creative (internal team of designers, copywriters, external agencies and freelancers)


- Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
