About the position

If you are an accounting professional, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our St. Louis, Missouri location, you will be responsible for administration of, or support and assistance in Corporate Accounting's preparation of public reports to stockholders, analysts and governmental agencies. You will also assist in research, interpretation and implementation of accounting rules and regulations from regulatory bodies (i.e., FASB, SEC, FTC, DOC, etc.), as well as coordinate and/or assist with ad hoc special project work as vital.   • Undergraduate degree in Accounting
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this role.

Nice-to-haves

  • Two to three years audit or accounting experience, preferably with Big 4.
  • Exposure to technical accounting or SEC reporting is a plus.
  • Proficiency and/or experience with Microsoft Excel, Hyperion and Workiva are beneficial.
