As we continue to grow closer with the SC Johnson family, we want to find simple ways to harmonize our systems, programs and policies and start to ‘speak the same language’ across all of our business units – Lifestyle Brands, Global Consumer Brands and Professional. One of the ways we are harmonizing is through SCJ position grading which allows for greater opportunity for employees to grow their careers across the overall SCJ organization. So while this role will be known as Sales Manager within Lifestyle Brands and for externally facing networking, within the broader SCJ organization, the internal job title is Associate Manager, Sales Account Management to ensure we are consistent within the company.

This is a remote role. Twin Cities area preferred due to proximity to customers.

THE ROLE

The Sales Manager provides analytical and sales support for our total portfolio of brands, including Method, Mrs. Meyer’s and Babyganics for Target. This role will report to the Sr. Director of Sales and support the work of the Directors of Sales. This role will have a significant influence and require a high level of leadership, high-impact analytics, strategic planning, and customer relationship management.

  • Assist the team in relationship management and communication with Target for a portion of the Babyganics, Method and Mrs. Meyers brands across several departments/categories.
  • Retail Partner Management
  • Assist Directors & Sr. Directors of Sales with Annual Planning, JBP, Trade Management, buyer meetings, relationship management
  • Data Analysis + Sales Presentations
  • Analytic support for Target meetings
  • Pull internal data and or retail POS data
  • Weekly POS reporting / Monthly TCN Reporting
  • New Item, Limited Edition & Seasonal Tracking
  • Price Analysis
  • Forecasting + Planning
  • Day to Day questions on trends
  • Promo Planning/Analysis

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of experience, at least 3 years working with Target
