The Digital and IT Programming Developer defines, configures, tests, trains and supports business-related IT systems and applications. You will lead projects that will enable business improvements and perform critical analysis. Then you will develop solutions using standard programming practices and protocols to fulfill the requirements that will positively impact the business.

You will also collaborate with other Technical Analysts, Senior Technical Analysts, and end users as you work together to establish a world class industrial manufacturing environment.

JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT

Manage the full life cycle of IT applications used in an industrial manufacturing environment. Develop & support IT applications that focus on automating business transactions, implementing new ideas, and improving cross functional team performance in all aspects of the business.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Full stack developer with experience in C# & SQL a must, RPA in UiPath, MS Power Automate, Flow, & Power BI. Other programming experience would be highly valued.

OR
• Support and develop in the following areas: COBOL, CICS, JCL, Batch or other Mainframe related areas.

Essential Functions:
• A strong understanding of data structures and the ability to query and build reports for business users.
• Implement, maintain, or support IT applications and services with complex technical specifications.
• Understand the business functional areas of supply chain, accounting, operations, marketing, etc.
• Use accepted standards and practices working in a team environment (TFS).

Provides resolution of critical technical problems when they occur. Has the ability to deep dive and find issues in custom applications whether they be errant code or bad data.

5. Data and ETL (EDI, SSIS, Data Quality, and SQL)

6. Application, Windows Forms, and Web Based Programming

7. Azure/Cloud Integration and Support

8. SQL Database Administration

9. Large Datamart Management

10. CICS, COBOL, JCL, Mainframe, and LogPro (AS400 RPG)

11. Support full lifecycle of custom designed business systems

12. Provide basic and advanced application support

13. Ability to operate various pieces of office equipment. Requires the internal working knowledge of all types of IT hardware.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelors degree (4 year) from college or university and a minimum of four years of related IT developer and project management experience or a combination of experience and education. Individuals with two-year degrees or less will not be considered.

Language Skills: Ability to communicate efficiently, read, analyze, and interpret general business topics and periodicals and technical procedures. Need to be able to understand computer program logic and general documentation. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of the organization. Maintain good working relationships with department associates, supervisors, and managers.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Any industry relevant certificates such as C#, PMP Power BI, etc. is an added benefit.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical and analytical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
